Byun’s Clan in Korea

•   Currently, the main building is only three houses in Haeju, Wonju (9 and Jangheon) and 90% of them.

•   Mr. Byun is reported as a surname from Song and Yuan, and the ancestor of Hangzhou is originally living in China's Yongxi province, but after the Song Dynasty collapsed, he crossed the sea and came to Goryeo In the meantime, Shijo Shosun of Wonju was a descendant of Shijo Yanbu of Huangju, and after the Song Dynasty was destroyed, he went to the court of the Yuan Dynasty. As a descendant of his grandfather, Ahn Ae-yeol, who was born in Wonju as the head of the Yuan Dynasty, received Wonju as the main building along with the Princess of the Unknown Kingdom during the Goryeo Dynasty.

Kaepung Province, North Hwanghae, Korean Peninsula 

  • Hwan’s Courtesy name was Yohwoi (여휘汝輝Your brilliance). Hwan lived in Kaepung County (Kaesong), Hwanghae Province on the Korean Peninsula. Hwan was born on February 30, 1620 (April 2, 1620 光海12; 庚申年 King Kwanghe, 12 years of ruling) and died on December 9 (did not indicate year). Manryuk (萬曆) was from the 1st day of the January lunar month in 1573 to the 30th day of the July 30 of lunar month in 1620. It was the era name of the King of the Ming Dynasty, the Emperor Manryuk (萬曆) of the Shenzhong (神宗).

  • Hwan’s spouse’s family name was Lee (전주 이씨 Lee Clan in Jeonju) and spouse’s father’s name was Keun and Hwan’s spouse’s grandfather, Dukyun served as Wansasu (local administrative manager). Hwan’s spouse died on January 9 (did not indicate year). The cemetery was in Jongryun, Seo-myeon, and Pungduk County, and the direction of the tomb was 30° (亥坐) north to west. Hwan and Hwan's spouse shared the same grave (祔). He had three sons, Sangsung (1st son 尙聖), Sangdam (2nd son 尙聃), and Sangbing (3rd son 尙聘).
